Right now i'm loving Powder, they're kind've a metal version of No Doubt, i just got their cd (legally!) having hear one song on the kerrangtest signal by them over 2 yrs ago!

I'm with the riot-grrrl lot but Bikini Kill were better smigs. haven't heard them, my flatmates just gettin me into all this stuff atm, loving Le Tigre right now... whats yr take on cassavetes? ;D

does anyone know of the Yeastie Girls? Wierdo girl rap/chant stuff from the first era of Gilman Street Berkely... They wrote rather gross songs on periods and date rape, legends in thier own rights but they disappeared along with the real Gilman Street and so many other bands RIP Isocracy
But I still think No Comply are the best female fronted band, they rule!

The cranberries. I saw them on charmed and forgot how much of their stuff i actually liked. (I know Mike has said them already but i wanted to stress the point) so I dug out their greatest hits. (PS Mike Yoinked)
