Oh, and Xander, I'm a girl and I can hack it in the mosh pits, if you can't, stay away from the centre at clubs or go to indie clubs but I for one like them, so by vote of 2-1, me and Zero win. lol, two points to make - 1: I never said I couldn't hack it. I didn't say anything about being able to handle it, I just don't LIKE them. You see the point I was making there? And 2:, nothing says you guys have to agree with me. It's just my opinion that if you can't enjoy a gig without moshing, the music ain't good enough.

but the better the music, the more you want to mosh! Though cornish moshing is nicer... at Aiden it was just people pushing and punching each other - not good... back home you danced, if you bumped into other people it didn't matter, but it wasn't the aim!

but men do actually get more ill than women do. its a fact. its cus all the male brain is devoted to thinking about the illness and how annoying it is, whereas for women there's always a part of their brain thinking about shoes, clothes......revenge, i don't know.

Nonsense. All the women I know get ill, and people are always saying 'you should be resting up in bed'. The answer is always the same:- 'I'm too busy to be sick, I'll be sick next week, I've got less on'. A bloke sneezes, jumps into bed and calls a woman round to look after him, complaining that he's sick. Men are wusses. Sadism is an art form and yes I am only playful, otherwise I'd leave scars To mosh is a reflection of the deep emotions which the music conveys evoking a strong physical response....how the hell can you say that the music isn't good enough if you mosh? That makes no sense whatsoever. U blatantly just can't handle pits.

Geez, not liking something is NOT the same as not being able to handle it, okay? Just because YOU like something doesn't mean I have to.
I'm sorry I have my own damn opinions.

I think xanders right.... you can appreciate music just as well without dancing to it, but some people fell that they want to, so they do... I still don't get the whole fighting thing, I want to dance not get punched in the head! That's why I didn't mosh at Aiden, even though I really wanted too!

Men still seem to think that when they have a cold they have the flu. As for getting punched in mosh pits, I've got hurt more outside of mosh pits at clubs by wankers not looking where they're going than I have in mosh pits. As for getting punched, doesn't really happen in my experience. Never known anyone who's got punched in a mosh pit other than an ex, and it was either at a slipknot gig or a cradle of filth gig (I don't remember which) and they came out covered in blood. That is not moshing, that is a fight. There is a difference. Oh, didn't say you have to like Mosh pits, just respect our right to have them. Got to remember, we're debating to get rid of mosh pits or keep them and I'm saying we have the right to keep them and you should respect that right rather than saying you have to like them. It is only a bit of a laugh anyway, arguments are fun

im afraid i will have to weigh on the side of moshing!! it is an expression of enjoyment (if u wanna sound geeky about it) moshing is great, good and enjoyable!! but i do make the distinction between mosh pits and Punching pits.......... hate a punching pit, usually found on the continent, but id never ask or vote for them to be stopped......express yourself how you like!!! just keep out of their way if u dont like it.....there usually easy to spot.
